Overview:

PURAGLOBE Port Tampa Bay was a new industrial construction and renovation of a manufacturing plant. MIELKE overcame the challenge of revitalizing an 8 year-old project that involved:

• Over 20,000 feet of new process and utility piping including 12” double containment piping to the ship berth
• 16 bulk oil storage tanks up to 500,000 gallons refurbished, modified and re-certified
• A marine loading arm consisting of articulated steel pipes that connect the oil tanker ships to the storage tanks

MIELKE was also the proud recipient of ABC’s National Excellence in Construction Eagle Award.
